Starting the morning with the right foot is essential for anyone who wants to have a successful day. But unfortunately we make some mistakes that can bring down the morning drive.
You know what I mean, those stupidities we do in the early hours of our day that make everything complicated before starting our day. That is why I am going to tell you about 5 things that I usually do in my first hours of the day that have given me results and that have made me much more productive.
Get up at 5 a.m.
Surely I just shot you in the abdomen with this. But the reality is that getting up early every morning is perfect. You can take advantage of it, from programming your day with peace of mind, to exercising.
I usually get up at that time to go to the gym, have breakfast, check emails and schedule my day.
Stop using the stupid snooze button
You know, that button was invented by some chump who liked to sleep until noon, be late for work and basically run around the house looking for pants.
Snooze the alarm is the stupidest thing you can do, since you don’t even sleep peacefully again. One trick I have done to get up just after the alarm sounds is placing my phone away from my bed, forcing me to get up to turn it off. Believe me, once you get up it would be silly to go back to bed.
Take a shower with cold water
scratched disc sound *, “are you kidding right?” Well, I understand that at 5 a.m. It’s cold and you don’t want to do it. But, it really is not about using completely cold water, it is only necessary that the water is neither cold nor hot. It will help you wake up your body, and cold water is also good for your skin and hair.
Avoid coffee in the morning
And I know that many will hate me for saying this, but a better option for your body to have an energy boost is to drink a glass of water when you wake up, it’s much healthier. And if you add a good shower to this, you really don’t need coffee anymore.
On the other hand, drinking a lot of coffee is bad, I have seen people suffering from migraines, bad mood and even mood swings for not drinking coffee, and I say it from experience because I am a coffee addict, but I have been able to reduce my consumption Just one cup in the afternoon.
Don’t skip the damn breakfast
Not only do I say it, so do the hundreds of scientific studies that support how harmful it is to skip breakfast.
I give you an example, you are a person who goes to bed at 10pm and gets up at 5am, 7 hours have passed without your body receiving food, if we add to this the fact that people should eat every 3 or 4 hours It means you need 2 meals, but you had the great (stupid) idea of not having breakfast, and until 10am you decide to eat something. We talked about having been eating food for 12 hours. You are a jerk.
A good healthy breakfast gives your body that energy it needs to perform all day. It influences your mood and if you are someone who pretends to be fit, it will help keep your metabolism accelerated. Whether you eat fruits, cereal or yogurt, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you should avoid skipping it.
They are simple but powerful habits that I have practiced for some time, and have made my mornings more productive and efficient. They will definitely feel a great change.
